You can call me Anna. 

I'm a Latina writer and a sun sign Gemini, Virgo rising, Virgo moon (a classic overthinker! IYKYK). I live in sunny Southern California, in a house filled with too many books, with my blessedly book-loving husband.

 

My passion for storytelling ignited in childhood, conjuring tales of magical realism to entertain five younger siblings. (A captive audience, but no less demanding!) Later, I set storytelling aside for professional pursuits in radio broadcasting, magazine publishing, and theater management. But my passion for stories continues to burn . . .

 

When I’m not clicking away on my laptop deep into the night, I’m curled up with a novel (shady characters and cliffhangers: yes, please) or I'm at the movies with the husband, enjoying a community experience on a giant screen (hot buttered popcorn: yes, please).

The stories I love to write are influenced by my travels (I dream of returning to Egypt one day) and my favorite noir films on the Turner Classic Movies channel.
