Hello, I'm "A.K." the writer. You can call me Anna.

My love affair with storytelling began in childhood, inventing stories to entertain five younger siblings (a captive audience, but no less demanding!). Later, I set storytelling aside for a career spanning radio broadcasting, magazine publishing, and theater management. But my love affair with stories never ceased.

 

Today I’m lucky to live and write in beautiful Southern California, in a house stacked with too many books to read in one lifetime. And there’s a husband wandering around among the stacks somewhere...

 

My writing is influenced and enriched by my travels (I dream of returning to Egypt one day) and my heritage as an American Latina. When I’m not clicking away on my laptop until the wee hours, I’m binge-reading suspense novels or watching thriller movies with the husband (preferably at a big-screen movie theater).
